You (the user) can access www.eMudhra.mu (the "Site"), subject to the terms and conditions of use, as changed / updated from time to time entirely at the discretion of eMudhra CA as set out below. The term of this Agreement shall continue and would be in force till the time you access this site & its services and you agree that you are bound by the terms as mentioned herein. Nothing in these Terms of Service should be construed to confer any rights on you or any third party beneficiaries.
You must be 18 years or older to use the eMudhra.mu service. By registering for the eMudhra.mu service, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years or older and that you have the capacity to understand, agree to and comply with these Terms of Service.
Since Mauritian laws do not permit to us to contract with a minor person (minor is a person who has not completed 18 years of age), we do not market our Web site to minor person under the age of 18.
We reserve the right to add to or change/modify the terms of this Agreement including but not limited to suspend/cancel, or discontinue any or all service at any time without notice, make modifications and alterations in any or all of the content, products and services contained on the site without prior notice. Such changes will be posted to eMudhra.mu for your convenience to understand your responsibility as a user. You are responsible for regularly reviewing these Terms of Service so that you will be apprised of any changes. You will be deemed to have accepted such change/s if you continue to access the Site subsequent to such changes.
eMudhra.mu will only collect, store, use, and share your personal information (including email address) as it is defined by our Privacy Policy and as regulated by Mauritian laws. When applying for Digital Signature Certificate online, in addition to entering your own personal information, you may be asked to enter personal information of your dependants. Information collected on the eMudhra.mu website is stored & used to prepare and electronically apply for Digital Signature Certificate, as well as notify you when new/enhanced products and services become available. We do not disclose user's information (including email address) to third parties except when the user requests to utilise services from other service providers. In just case, we will disclose information to the appropriate government officials if the law so compels us.
Only information you have given us (including email address) is stored by us. We do not supplement your information with information from other companies. The exception to this would be when your employer / Existing Service Provider has bought the services / products for bulk use for its employees/ Customers and to facilitate that we may upload information provided by your employer/ Existing Service Provider.
When you use services and other tools on our Web sites that may or may not require registration, eMudhra.mu may collect non-identifiable data from such tools, to help us customize offers and tools to your particular interests. eMudhra.mu will not record or track any data you enter into standalone tools in any way that identifies you personally, unless we specifically inform you that we are doing so at the time you provide such data.
In case of changes in CCA Rules and Regulations & procedures we would try our best to incorporate the same on the site at the earliest however we do not take responsibility to always update our web site or the service/s offered instantly, at times it may take time or we may not consider to update the same for a reason, the decision of eMudhra would be final. In the event of leakage of any information from the site for any reason beyond our control & for whatsoever reason eMudhra.mu shall not be responsible under any circumstances and no action shall lie against eMudhra.mu. A maximum relief granted in such an event would be subject to the payment you have made for that service or product, which we may refund to you & that eMudhra or eMudhra Consumer services Limited would be deemed to have discharged its limited liability towards you.

This Site reserves the right to charge subscription and / or membership fees in respect of any part, aspect of this Site & Service/s and/or product/s upon reasonable prior notice. Such notice will be appearing on the site by displaying the new / revised charges for the service/s and/or product/s as offered from time to time with or without modifications & on such display it will be presumed to be read by all users whether registered or not & no further notice would be required. The same will apply for any service/s or products, which are currently being offered without any charges, whenever made chargeable.
eMudhra.mu does not refund any fees paid towards the issuance of a Digital Certificate after the issuance of the Certificate.
eMudhra.mu may refuse to issue a Certificate to any person, at its sole discretion, without incurring any liability or responsibility for any loss or expenses arising out of such refusal. Upon a refusal to issue a Certificate, eMudhra.mu will refund to the Certificate Applicant any paid Certificate fees, unless the Certificate Applicant submitted fraudulent or falsified information to the RA or failed to submit documentary evidence in support of the Certificate Application within 15 days of the application. In such a case the fee will not be refunded.
Any claim for refund will not be entertained in case of any wrong data entry done by the subscriber which causes no or wrong data entry in certificate.
Request for refund of payment made to eMudhra must be made within 5 business days of date of payment. Your request for a refund terminates your rights to use the eMudhra.mu services and any related warranties.
Refund of the fees you paid to eMudhra.mu is the maximum relief granted in any event, including but not limited to computation error, printing error, filing error, filing delay, data leakage, security breach, data loss, or non availability of service
A notification is sent to subscriber that the certificate is ready to be downloaded. Along with this notification, an authentication code to download certificate is sent to subscriber. Certificates are made available to subscribers by allowing them to download them from eMudhra web site for a period of 15 days and no charge will be levied in case of download failures / errors during this period. Downloading the certificate constitutes by the subscriber?s acceptance of the certificate. As the issuance of certificate is online process, the download of certificate by the subscriber will be construed as delivery of certificate. In case there is a failure during the download process and the certificates are not sent by the CA server, the subscriber will be allowed to download again. In case the subscriber claims that he has not been able to download the certificate though the server has sent it, the subscriber will have to send in a new certificate application request and the old certificate will be revoked. The charges will be at the discretion of eMudhra.
The eMudhra.mu service is made available for your personal, non-commercial use only.
You may not use the eMudhra.mu service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. International users agree to comply with all Mauritian laws & regulations, including laws regulating the export of data from the United States or your country of residence. You are solely responsible for your conduct and any data, text, information, graphics, that you submit, & post on to eMudhra.mu service.
While eMudhra.mu prohibits such conduct on its site, you understand and agree that you nonetheless may be exposed to such misuse or blocking by other users and that you use the eMudhra.mu service at your own risk.
For certain services such as Email, contents, Online apply and others, registration by the visitor is required. By registering, you agree to the following terms in addition to any other specific terms, which shall be posted at an appropriate location of the Site.
